Hi, I'm Kat and I am a human-centred design expert who approaches every project with a deep understanding and empathy for the end users. I put people at the heart of the design process, and work closely with them to identify their needs, wants and pain points.
I know that great design is about creating solutions that meet the user's needs and fit seamlessly into their lives. I use a variety of research methods and tools to gather insights and feedback. I take these and then translate them into innovative and intuitive designs. With experience spanning numerous areas of the design industry, I am a versatile designer proficient in UX design, UX research, UI design, service design, website solutions, publishing, print, retail POS, branding, corporate IDs, advertising, video production, and more. Based in the Newcastle area of New South Wales, Australia, I have amassed over 20 years of experience in the field and have gained a wealth of knowledge. I am always eager to continue learning, particularly when it comes to understanding people and their goals.

I have presented at different events about research efforts to reach user groups in remote areas. I have also created a series of Experience League sessions within organisations to spread the importance of user experience while solving problems within the business and digital offerings.
